Why Tender Maintenance Deserves the Same Standard as the Yacht

A tender carries guests ashore, ferries provisions, and is frequently the vessel a captain relies on most during a charter. Yet on many yachts, it receives a fraction of the maintenance attention given to the main vessel.

The standard we apply to a superyacht — scheduled maintenance, annual survey, documented repair history — should apply equally to the tender fleet. Anything less introduces risk the owner never signed up for.
